Evelien Yap is partner and director at Lysiac, specialized in market access and reimbursement issues. Evelien holds a Pharmaceutical Degree as well as a Master in Health Services Research. Evelien has gained broad expertise at several pharmaceutical companies, including market access responsibility for the overall portfolio at a large multinational: pricing & reimbursement, financing, health economics, policy development and interaction with stakeholders. Her previous experience and insight in the field of regulatory affairs form a solid foundation for solving reimbursement and financing issues.

Evelien is specialized in the policy developments concerning the decision making for reimbursement. With her understanding of the assessment and weighing of the reimbursement criteria she is committed in providing the necessary support and conditions to allow access for the patient. She has detailed knowledge of and experience with procedures concerning systems such as the outpatient GVS system and inpatient hospital reimbursement and financing system (add-on).

Evelien has proved very successful in solving reimbursement issues, which has led to reimbursement and access of many innovative treatments, particularly for specialty and orphan indications, but also for more common diseases. Based on her understanding of current policies and policy developments, her expertise and experience, she is committed to quality and integrity in obtaining optimal access to treatments for patients.
