Introduction

We at Lysiac are committed to honouring and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement describes our privacy policy and practices regarding collection and use of personal data. 

Lysiac (hereinafter also referred to as “we”) is a consultancy firm in healthcare. We may at times, during our assignments for our customers, collect personal data for the execution of our business. Related to the delivery of our services, we may, for operational reasons, share personal data with third parties working on our behalf, such as subcontractors. We regulate any such processing in data processing agreements. These agreements ensure that any party working on our behalf will protect the security and confidentiality of your personal data.

What is personal information as used in this Privacy Policy?

Personal information means information that identifies you or could be used to identify you and which is submitted to and/or collected by Lysiac. Examples of personal information include your name, your postal address, your e-mail address and your telephone number.

 

Which personal data do we process?

It concerns data we require for communication or public relations, or to provide the services you request. We process data such as your name, address, picture, email address and professional data like company name, VAT number and relevant financial data. In most instances you provide these data directly to us, but it may occur that we obtain these data via other parties or via the internet. These data can also relate to your expertise or future plans. 

 

How does Lysiac protect the privacy of children?

Lysiac does not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children (we define children as minors younger than 16). If you are a parent and become aware that your child has provided us with information, please contact us using one of the methods specified below, and we will work with you to address this issue.

 

Why do we process personal data?

We use personal data to optimize our business contacts. We use this personal data to reach you, possibly with a question or an invitation, or in response to a meeting or assignment. Any financial data which is processed is needed for administrational reasons. 

 

Does Lysiac share personal information with third parties?

Except as otherwise stated in this statement, Lysiac will not transfer your personal information to third parties unless you have been provided with an opportunity to opt into this disclosure.  Lysiac may disclose your personal information without your opt-in to third party service providers which assist us with our business activities. It is Lysiac’s practice to require such third party service providers to keep your personal information confidential and to use your personal information only to perform functions for Lysiac and in accordance with Lysiac’s instructions. Lysiac may disclose your personal information without your opt-in to third parties that may have interest in your services, but only if and to the extent that your personal information has been published by yourself or by your organisation.  

Lysiac further reserves the right to disclose your personal information to respond to authorized information requests from government authorities or when otherwise required by law. In the event Lysiac sells its business, Lysiac will only transfer your personal information to the buyer subject to your consent where required by applicable law so that the buyer can continue to provide you with information and services.

 

How does Lysiac secure personal information?

It is Lysiac’s practice to secure each Lysiac website that collects personal information; however, the confidentiality of personal information transmitted over the Internet cannot be guaranteed. We urge you to exercise caution when transmitting personal information over the Internet. Lysiac cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not gain access to your personal information; therefore, when submitting personal information to Lysiac websites, you must weigh both the benefits and the risks.

 

Your rights

You have the right to view, correct, limit or delete your personal data. It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.

Retention period

We do not retain data any longer than necessary. If statutory rules on retention periods apply, then we abide by those rules.

 

Lawful basis and purposes for processing

Lysiac collects and processes your personal data either based on the performance of an assignment or a contract with you or the legitimate interest to offer our services to you. This also applies to the collection and processing of data of our suppliers.

In case of announcements, invitations and other communication when no relationship exists based on a contract, Lysiac can process data based on our legitimate interests: to develop our services and grow our business.
